Esterzili stands in the Barbagia di Seulo, in a mountainous territory rich in domus de janas, nuraghi, temples and giants’ tombs.

The sanctuary lies on Monte Santa Vittoria, near the transhumance routes linking mountain areas to seasonal pastures.
